A vision-based leader-follower platooning system using ROS2 Jazzy and a Kobuki robot base. The system runs entirely on a Raspberry Pi 5 and uses a Microsoft Kinect v1, LDROBOT D500 LiDAR along with Nav2 and AMCL
Speed Estimation using Computer Vision
Prototype system that detects cars and estimates their speed using YOLOv8, BoT-SORT, and OpenCV along with CUDA-accelerated inference (via PyTorch) for near real-time performance
